Our Mission

The Alameda County Fair Foundation’s sole purpose and mission is to create new opportunities for youth engagement, expand & enhance educational programs and fund capital projects that will strengthen the viability and relevancy of the Fair for future generations.

The Alameda County Fair Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our Vision

For more than 100 years, Alameda County Fairgrounds has played an integral role in the preservation, promotion and advancement of Alameda County’s rich agricultural heritage. The Alameda County Fair Foundation was formed in recent years for the exclusive purpose of keeping the Fair’s mission alive and relevant for future generations. With an ambitious plan to build strategic partnerships and raise capital funding, the Fair Foundation aims to drive community outreach and youth engagement through the endowment of innovative, technology-based educational programs and facilities.

Become A Fair Foundation Heritage Member

Do you love the Fair and all the Alameda County Fairgrounds has to offer our community? The Heritage Membership was created for those individuals who want to continually support the Alameda County Fairgrounds. One hundred percent of membership proceeds go directly towards the Foundation projects.  When you become a Heritage Member, you are helping our projects become a reality.

Heritage Membership $500

The Fair Foundation’s Heritage Membership was developed for people who are committed to the mission of the Foundation. Your yearly membership will be supporting the future of the Fairgrounds and the Foundation’s first project–The Farm. With your membership you will also receive:
  • 4 One Day Admission to the Fair
  • 2 General Parking Pass
  • Attendance at Heritage Events and volunteer opportunities
  • Acknowledgement in the Fair e-newsletter
The Foundation

The Foundation seeks and receives grants and donations to ensure the growth and viability of the cherished Alameda County Fairgrounds.  Donations to the Alameda County Fair Foundation support capital projects and agricultural education programs. All donation amounts are appreciated. *Gifts of stocks, annuities and donations above $10,000 would be greatly appreciated and recognized individually.  The Alameda County Fair Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Please consult your tax advisor regarding the possibility of tax benefits, we cannot give tax advice.

Supreme Champion $10,000

  • 8 Season Passes to the Fair
  • 8 VIP Lounge Tickets for Racing Days (reservations required)
  • 4 Parking Credentials – VIP Lot
  • 4 Fair Foundation Polo Shirts
  • $1,000 in Fair credit to be used for admission, concerts or carnival wristbands
  • Concert Meet and Greet for 4 people (with artist′s approval)
  • Acknowledgement in the Fair e-newsletter
  • Invitation and recognition at the Fair Blue Ribbon Dinner

Best Of Show $5,000

  • 6 Season Passes to the Fair
  • 6 VIP Lounge Tickets for Racing Days (reservations required)
  • 2 Parking Credentials – VIP Lot
  • 2 Fair Foundation Polo Shirts
  • $500 in Fair credit to be used for admission, concerts or carnival wristbands
  • Concert Meet and Greet for 2 people (with artist′s approval)
  • Acknowledgement in the Fair e-newsletter
  • Invitation and recognition at the Fair Blue Ribbon Dinner

Grand Champion $2,500

  • 4 Season Passes to the Fair
  • VIP Lounge Ticket for 1 day of Horseracing for 4 people (reservations required)
  • 2 Parking Credentials – VIP Lot
  • 2 Fair Foundation Polo Shirts
  • $250 in Fair Script to be used for admission, concerts or carnival wristbands
  • Acknowledgement in the Fair e-newsletter

Friend Of Fair $1,000
