POSITION SCOPE:
The IT Technician/Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of Alameda County Agricultural Fair Association internet, intranets, point of sale systems, computer systems and sound systems. Duties include managing front and back-end software and systems, responding to employee concerns, drafting documents to help employees use computer systems and coordinating with company leadership to determine new technologies that could enhance their company’s computer systems. This is a full time, exempt position reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
SALARY: $30/hr
POSITION SCOPE:
This is a regular, full time, non-exempt position in our Maintenance department. This position requires familiarity with the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the construction trade. Knowledge of the method and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment; safety precautions to be observed. This position offers excellent benefits, generous paid leave and paid holidays. This full time, non-exempt position is responsible for securing and protecting our 267-acre property. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11pm Swing Shift and include weekends during Events. This position is responsible for guarding and protecting gates, entrances, buildings, facilities and other designated posts on premises. Excellent problem solution, de-escalation and customer service skills are essential for success.
We are looking for a guest-oriented, experienced security professional who can communicate in a friendly and effective manner, monitor the flow of visitors and protect our property.
