POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a seasonal, part time position beginning in April and concluding at the end of July. It is approximately 16-25 hours per week increasing to 35-40 hours per week during our annual Fair. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to learn more about the event sales and events operations. This position supports the Event Sales department in their day-to-day operations during the Fair. Working early, late and/or weekend shifts as needed is required. A qualified candidate is an experienced and confident sales person who is organized and deadline conscious. The ability to handle multiple projects effectively is essential for success. We are looking for a dedicated team player with great people skills and a “can-do” attitude who is interested in putting knowledge to action in this fast-paced environment.
SALARY: $18/Hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Concessions & Sales Audit Intern will provide support to the Food Auditor and accounting department on various duties including analyzing and auditing revenue. This is a seasonal position starting June 15th and ending July 10th for approximately 40 hours per week, including weekends, during our annual Fair.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Information Technology Intern is a seasonal position associated with our annual fair. This position offers individuals hands-on experience working in the Information Technology (I.T.) field. The intern will work in multiple I.T. functions with an emphasis on support of the annual Alameda County Fair. The position will start as part-time and could built to a full-time position during Fair. This position will begin April of 2023 and will continue until end of July 2023.Our Fair hours are Wednesday through Sunday between 12 PM and 11 PM, except for the last week, we are open all days.
We are looking for a resourceful and well-organized individual with an eagerness to learn from the best and a dedication to helping others.
SALARY: $18 per hour
POSITION SCOPE:
This position is under the general direction of the Director of Entertainment, Agriculture & Programs. This position is responsible for assisting the Program Operations Department with tent and equipment placement, Fairtime Festivals, Exhibits program and other administrative and operational support. This is a seasonal position that could start part-time in May. It will require 40 hours a week in June and July.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a seasonal full-time position with potential to evolve into a regular full-time benefited position. This position provides set-up and tear down for the more than 300 fairground events each year. This includes, but is not limited to, putting up pipe and drape, delivering tables and chairs, skirting tables, and responding to event promoter’s requests. This position requires heavy lifting and the ability to work well with our promoters, public and event staff. Candidates must be flexible to work any shift, including the late shifts as necessary.

POSITION SCOPE:
This Full time, non-exempt position is responsible for day-to-day operations at the RV Campground & Storage
facility, including interacting with RV Campground & Storage clients. Good computer and customer service
skills are essential for success.
We are looking for a guest-oriented reception team member who can communicate in a friendly and
effective manner. The ability to show understanding and the confidence to ensure compliance of policies and
regulations.
SALARY: $25 to $34 an hour
POSITION SCOPE:
This is a non– exempt full–time position in our Grounds and Plumbing Department. This position will require knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the plumbing trade; applicable state and federal health and safety code requirements; methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools,
machinery, and equipment; safety precautions to be observed in the maintenance and installation of electronic and mechanical equipment. Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal on grounds. Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing gas lines throughout the grounds. An essential function of this position is to report to on–site emergencies in 45 minutes or less (call–in pay premium applies).

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a regular, full time (40 hours a week), non-exempt position in our Maintenance department. This position requires familiarity with the methods , materials and equipment used in the construction trade. Knowledge of the method and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment; safety precautions to be observed. This position offers excellent benefits, generous paid leave and paid holidays.
