POSITION SCOPE:
This Part-Time position is on-site and in-person; approximately 25 hours per week. The Horse Racing Marketing Specialist will focus on public relations, marketing projects and coordinating social media accounts for live Horse Racing and Off-Track Betting. This part-time position reports to the Director of Marketing and Business Development.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a seasonal full-time position with potential to evolve into a regular full-time benefited position. This position provides set-up and tear down for the more than 300 fairground events each year. This includes, but is not limited to, putting up pipe and drape, delivering tables and chairs, skirting tables, and responding to event promoter’s requests. This position requires heavy lifting and the ability to work well with our promoters, public and event staff. Candidates must be flexible to work any shift, including the late shifts as necessary.

This full-time, exempt position is responsible for managing the OTB and Racing Operations, staff and schedules, maintaining facilities, coordinating with related contractors and partners and managing live racing operations during the annual Fair. The Off-Track Betting & Racing Supervisor reports to the Director of Entertainment, Agriculture &
Programs.

This full-time, exempt position is responsible for managing the Racing Operation, Off-Track Betting, Barns, related contractors and partners, overseeing the Golden State Racing contract and the live racing operations during the annual Fair and Golden State Racing Meet. The Racing Operations Manager reports to the Director of Entertainment, Agriculture & Programs.

The Junior Accountant and Contract Specialist is a full time, benefited position in our Accounting department. This position will perform basic accounting functions, such as
accounts receivable, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation and data entry for journal entry or other reporting preparation.

This is a regular, full time, non-exempt position in our Maintenance department. This position requires familiarity with the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the construction trade. Knowledge of the method and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment; safety precautions to be observed.
