Covid Regulations

The health and safety of our guests and staff is of the utmost importance and continues to be at the forefront during our reopening.  We are actively monitoring and following all State and County guidelines pertaining to COVID-19 and reopening.  Per the regulations set by Alameda County and the State of California, all unvaccinated guests are required to wear a face mask while visiting the Fairgrounds. FAQ's

  • You may purchase tickets to Grandstand Reserved Seating online the day of each race day. Ticket booths and sellers will not be available onsite. 
  • Tickets for Sky Lounge, Trackside Terrace and Box Seats close the Thursday before each race weekend at 11:59pm. To purchase tickets day of, guests may purchase Grandstand Reserved Seating online and dining upgrades will be available onsite, subject to availability.

Unvaccinated persons are required to wear a mask. If you are vaccinated, you will not be required to wear a mask.

Dining at the Stella Artois Grandstand opens at 1:15PM, food and beverage service begins at 1:15PM and will be served until the second to last race’s post time.

You are not able to leave and come back.

We will communicate via email and social media if the weather threatens dining for that afternoon.

Yes. Two seat minimum at both Trackside Terrace and Sky Lounge. Minimum seat purchase required for Boxes. Each Grandstand ticket reserves one unassigned seat. All purchases are for one full day of Horse Racing.

Yes, restrooms will be open for use and cleaned regularly by our staff to keep our guests safe.

ADA Tables are located on the top level of Trackside Terrace. To request an ADA accessible table, please email [email protected] after you purchase your tickets. Include the order the name is under, the date of purchased tickets and that you would like to request an ADA accessible table. We will make every effort to accommodate your request.  All Sky Lounge seating is ADA accessible.

Pets are not allowed on the Alameda County Fairgrounds. However, registered service dogs are permitted.

All guests must be 18 and over for Sky Lounge Dining. Trackside Terrace, Box Seats and Grandstand Reserved Seating can accommodate guests under the age of 18. Children 2 and under, who will be sitting on your lap, do not need to purchase a ticket. All children above the age of 2 years need to have a ticketed seat purchased. If you bring a stroller or car seat to the table for your child to sit in, you will need to purchase a ticket for your child. There is no alternate price of tickets for children.
