Over the weekend, I got to catch up with one of the Founders and masterminds behind Curveball Slider Truck – Justin. Curveball is one of the Gourmet Food Trucks that joins us at the Grab & Stay Food Trucks and features handmade sliders and chicken sandwiches.
Justin and his business partner took the leap into the food truck industry six years ago after working in the restaurant industry for several years. Their sliders take an American food base and adds a fun ballpark twist, some of the best summer comfort food. Each of their menu items makes me miss going to baseball games, with choices such as the Curveball, Fastball and Screwball.
Curveball’s menu features beef sliders, killer chicken sandwiches, garlic fries and more. The Curveball Slider is their most popular slider and includes IPA Braised Pork Belly, chipotle mayo and their house made BBQ sauce.
Each night they have joined the Grab & Stay Food Trucks, their line has been constant, getting a chance to chat with Justin amidst the madness was a tall order. Their garlic fries are to die for and you simply cannot beat their sliders, all mouthwatering and leave you wanting more! Curveball Slider Truck will be at the food trucks each Friday through the end of the month – stop by and see them while you can!
