Time Capsule

Alameda County Fair Time Capsule

A Moment 50 Years in the Making!

As part of the Alameda County Fair’s America 250th celebration, a special time capsule was installed to preserve a snapshot of the 2026 Fair and the community that made it meaningful.

The capsule includes memories, stories and contributions from community leaders, Fair staff, the agricultural community, volunteers, vendors, community partners and guests. Together, these items reflect the traditions, people and experiences that continue to make the Alameda County Fair a cherished part of our community.

Sealed until 2076, the time capsule will be opened during America’s 300th anniversary celebration, offering future generations a look at how we lived and what was important to us today.
